This is An from Shenzhen Farada, and I am wrting to ask you something about use of Surge2008 to do the transient analysis of oil pipeline. I saw the kinetic viscosity on the screen popped up while starting the program is set to a fixed value and you can't change this value under "system data|simulation specs" either. For this data directly affects the head loss calculation of different mediums in the pipe, I will appreciate your explanation about this.

Modeling Oil in Pipe2008: Surge
To model oil you need to select Darcy Weisbach as the friction equation, You can then define viscosity and specific gravity. Please contact me if you have additional questions.
