These data exchange applications are included with the Professional version of any Pipe2010 product and with the Premium version of Pipe2010: KYPipe.
DXF Exchange: This module allows you to import piping data (lines and polylines) from Auto CAD to create a pipe system model in Pipe2010. PIPE2010 can also export the model and text labels back into Auto CAD. This allows for model presentation and sharing in the AutoCAD environment, and the use of Auto CAD capabilities for plotting and other operations. This feature does NOT require that AutoCad be installed on the same machine as PIPE2010.
GIS Exchange: This module imports and exports PIPE2000 data to and from SHAPE files. This GIS file interface includes the full spectrum of pipe network geometric and attributes data. The GIS interface is a fully-compatible model maintenance option for several users with different uses for the same model data set. This feature does NOT require that ArcView or other GIS application be installed on the same machine as PIPE2010.
